Join Our Giggles and Cheers – Happy Patriots’ Day
Samuel (on a video call): Ella! What’s that holiday you were telling me about? Patriots’ Day? Are you doing anything fun? Ella (smiling on screen): Hey Samuel! Yes — it’s Patriots’ Day here in Ethiopia today. It’s really special for us. Samuel: What’s it about? Ella: Well, a long time ago, Ethiopia was invaded by Italy. Samuel:Hi everyone! It’s me, Samuel, writing from Munich. I just got back, and I already miss Addis Ababa so much! Ella, I keep thinking about all the cool things we did together, but the best part was Easter Sunday with our big family. I keep thinking about how much…

The first book is set to be released by the end of June (or at the latest, by the end of August) just in time…

Ella: “Hi there! I’m Ella, and I live in Addis Ababa. Look at me—I just got my yellow belt in Karate! What do you think?” Samuel: “Hey! I’m Samuel, Ella’s cousin. I live in Germany, and guess what? I’ve been practicing this amazing spin-kick in soccer—it’s unstoppable! Wanna see it in action?” Ella: “That’s so cool, Samuel. But I’m telling you, when you visit Ethiopia, there are SO many exciting things we could do together—you won’t believe it!” Samuel: “Really? Tell me everything! I can’t wait!” Ella: “Okay, so we COULD start with the water park—racing down huge slides, making the biggest splashes, and cooling off in the sun!” Samuel: “Yes! That sounds like the perfect way to…
