Books,  Ellas and Samuel book Series

„Samuel“ loves reading

This week, „Samuel“ had a very special outing—to the Kids Reading Corner at Enitewawek Café!

As he flipped through pages with colorful illustrations and stories full of wonder, he asked:

When are we adding our book about me and Ella to the reading corner?”

Yes, you heard that right! Samuel and Ella will soon be the stars of their very own book series—stories crafted for young readers in late Grade 1 and early Grade 2, right at that magical moment when children are transitioning into independent reading.

The first book is set to be released by the end of June (or at the latest, by the end of August) just in time for Enkutatash, Ethiopia’s New Year celebration. It will be the beginning of a beautiful journey filled with adventure, curiosity, and cultural connection—all seen through the eyes of two spirited young characters.

Why the focus on early readers? Because literacy is more than just reading words. It’s about building imagination, confidence, empathy, and a lifelong love for learning. A simple story can unlock a child’s world.

At Enitewawek Café, the Kids Reading Corner is more than a cozy nook—it’s a celebration of storytelling, and of every child’s right to dream, learn, and explore.

We can’t wait to see Samuel and Ella’s book nestled among the other titles, waiting to be discovered by little hands and big imaginations.

Stay tuned—adventures are coming soon!
